Semina @ Sweet Whisper 29/5/21

When I saw Semina on stage for the first time a few days ago, I immediately wanted to write a blog about her. As luck would have it, yesterday she celebrated her 100th stage anniversary in SL and of course this special day was perfect to make my wish come true. The venue was Sweet Whisper. This stage is in the middle of a dreamy garden and the beautiful and extraordinary backdrop looks like a dilapidated Inca temple. You can feel directly how much effort and love the owners have to invest to make this venue so beautiful. Semina is a singer from Sweden and her delicate, fairy-like nature brings a very special presence to the stage. Although she has only recently started singing in SL, she has already cast a spell over many fans and with a very good reason. Her music, like her looks, is sensitive and dreamy. The songs she selected very well on this Saturday evening were from Tom Odell - Another Love, Kodaline - All I Want, The Beatles - Let it be, George Ezra - Budapest, Birdy - Skinny Love, Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars, Radiohead - Creep, Tones and I - Dance Monkey, Elvis Presley - Can 't Help Falling In Love, Coldplay - Yellow, Ed Sheeran - Afterglow. Her voice is beautiful, soulful, dreamy and her slightly lascivious way (in the best sense of the word) of breathing into the microphone touches the viewer and leaves a lasting impression. It is a pleasure to listen to her and unfortunately the concert passed far too quickly. You should remember the name Semina! I really want to hear more from her and can recommend everyone to attend one of her next concerts. **translated from German**
