Rico Dee @ TempleRock 25/4/21

Updated: May 23, 2021

This Sunday morning, I visited the beautiful TempleRock Venue, a place hidden in a cave that can be accessed through a waterfall. Fantastically designed, with great attention to detail and where you are always greeted in a very friendly manner. Rico Dee is a musician from the Philippines, he plays pop, rock and reggae covers on his acoustic guitars. I've had the desire to blog Rico for a long time and today it finally happened. He played the songs Knocking on Heavens Door-Bob Dylan, Breakfast at Tiffany-Deep Blue Something, Dancing in the Moonlight-King Harvest, Africa-Toto, Ain't no sunshine-Bill Withers, Slow Dancing in a burning Room- John Mayer, Like a Stone-Chris Cornell, One of Us-Joan Osborne Nothing compairs 2U-Chris Cornell, Stigmatized-The Calling, Valerie-Amy Winehouse and Iris-Goo Goo Dolls. All of them wonderful titles, which he presented very soulfully. He plays and sings with such apparent ease as if it were the most natural thing in the world. This is exactly what distinguishes a professional like Rico. I like Rico, not only because of his incredibly strong, clear voice with which the high notes are fantastic and his skills as a guitarist, but also because he is such a friendly guy, completely transparent to his audience, happy, warm and natural and this is exactly what is reflected in his music and that is how it goes down with his fans and listeners. Keep it up, Rico, it's a great pleasure to see your concerts and I would like to invite everyone to experience him live. **translated from German**
