I was once again a guest in The Night Owl,the beautiful well-known stage with a view of the sea. It is a very romantic place to experience a wide variety of concerts.
Since I love South American music, I was really looking forward to the program of Macó, a Franco-Colombian who lives in France. In addition to being a singer, she is also a guitarist, pianist and songwriter in RL and you can also find some of her own songs in her song list.
In SL she sings French and South American Latin songs for her large audience. Their repertoire is an absolute rarity and I am very happy to be able to hear this style of music in SL as well. An excerpt of their songs on this Monday were:
Necio by Romeo Santos feat. Carlos Santana, Corazon espinado by Carlos Santana, Historia de un amor (french latino), J'ai demandé à la lune (Indochine), On veut continuer à danser encore (covid song), La Tortura by Shakira, Me gustas tu by Manu Chao, Ruta 66 by Rock Pappo, Maria by Ricky Martin and Tabaco y ron by Rodolfo y su tipica.
This unique singer with her wonderfully soft, mellow and soulful voice interprets even the most demanding titles with enormous ease and during her entire performance I did not hear any uncertainty, which underlines her great talent and professionalism.
The Latin rhythm seems to flow through her veins and she literally radiates it and exudes so much good mood and pure zest for life, which is a real gift for the audience. A Macó show means having a wonderful time with French chansons, salsa, bachata and merengue. This good mood music that invites you to dance and makes you dream of the next vacation under palm trees with a delicious cocktail in hand.
I can absolutely recommend going to a Macó concert, maybe we'll see you there very soon!
