OK - just not sure where to start with this one. AMFORTE has such a huge rep, thousands of followers, released singles - as I got to the show I was almost determined to find fault. Brick Shiphouse is my kind of venue - spacious yet somehow atmospheric - 50 people in there but little sign of lag. And AMFORTE? Well - she sat at her piano (no backing track needed) and treated us to some of the most wonderful singing I heard in Second Life for a long time. As she floated through her repertoire the song titles were almost irrelevant as her clear soulful vocals and crisp piano thrilled her large audience. Such a wonderful experience - what live music in Second Life can truly aspire to.
