They say Dude thrives on random , truer words were never spoken.
From Blue's Brothers (Flip, Flop , Fly ) , David Bowie (Let's Dance) , Queen (Don't Stop Me Now) to Frank Sinatra (Witchcraft) and Wild Cherry (Play That Funky Music) , Dude did them all and then some and with such ease.
I really don't know how this guy finds time to breathe (maybe through his ears) .The moment he gets on stage he doesn't stop, whether it's singing or engaging the crowd in comedic banter , this
guy isn't just a singer with a great voice , he is a true entertainer .
The venue Crabby's is a beautiful place that gives you a sense of relaxation ,with it's swaying palms , sand and welcoming staff , I found it really difficult to leave , just wanting to curl up on a deckchair and take it all in.
I also have to make a special mention about Crabby's hostess for Dude's gig , Hail Mary, I've never been treated to such a friendly welcome , Mary did not miss greeting one person and made it like we weren't guests but friends.
All in all , a fantastic performance and a very lovely venue , if you get the chance , do yourself a favour and get along to one of Dude's gigs , especially if it's at Crabby's
