Aislen was raised around music in Los Angeles, California - the capital of the music industry. Music has always been a part of her life. Professional singers surrounded the family while growing up, and there was always someone singing at home, which led to her being trained to sing by her father and taking singing lessons at a very young age. Growing up in an era where all the popular music was on one radio station, she developed a love of everything from R&B, soul, country, pop rock and even opera. Aislen has performed to crowds of people in real life, the most being 1800 people! This was a huge personal accomplishment for her, though after she began a 12 year hiatus from singing. Now her interest is renewed, and she's begun taking music lessons again, re-discovering her talent after leaving her singing voice dormant for many years
