Running a club in Second Life can be a very exciting and rewarding experience indeed.  It can, however, be also quite worrying and stressful.

Second Life is filled with clubs of all sorts.  For many of us, teleporting into a club was our first social experience in SL. Clubs are exciting, vibrant places where everyone seems to be having a great time!

​

What many don't realize is that behind the scenes clubs are complex endeavors that require equal amounts of creativity, patience and management skills.  Creating and running a club is definitely NOT for the faint hearted. 

​

The sad fact remains that well over half the new clubs opened in SL are gone within a year.  Time and time again we see wonderfully built and designed clubs struggle and eventually fail.  

​

But for all that lots of clubs thrive, and, despite all the challenges,  for many owners the reward of running a successful SL club is well worth all the time, hard work and lindens!

So what makes one club successful where another one fails?

The short answer is that there is no guarantee of success.  All you can do is to give yourself the best chance possible.  Through our Club Aid program, we believe we can help you do just that.

In the Club Aid program we train you in all aspects of how to run a successful club, comprehensively covering such topics as:

                   Club design and furnishings

​

                   Sources of income

​

                   Choosing, hiring and keeping staff 

​

                    Organizing and Running Events 

​

                    Promoting the club and events

 

                    Security

 

                    Financial statistics and management 

​

                    Expanding the operation

​

                    Introductions and contacts 

​

To maximize the benefits and effectiveness of the program, we tailor our programs to suit the requirements of each individual.  After the program is completed, we stay in touch, if required,  and are on hand to provide advice on specific challenges.

We also plan a self-help group for like-minded club owners to pool their ideas and experiences.

​

The cost of the program is 5k.  This includes host training and can include 2 people.
